Worcester Boiler Coming on despite wireless thermostats being off

Hi, can anyone help with this situation:

After a lot of investigating and a replacement controller, it turned out next door had fitted the same panel and their panel was controlling my heating. It had a pin code for frequency but they were set almost the same, so their timer was controlling my boiler.

What can I do to become independent of the neighbours heating system!!! I have no idea which house has the new heating system but I feel it isn't to my immediate right or left and wouldn't know what to tell them to do either?

Thanks in advance!

you need the instructions for the particular make and model of controller you are using. It might or might not be WB brand.

If that doesn't work, phone the customer service desk for the controller maker. They will ask you which model it is.

We had the heating engineer out when the heating started coming on randomly as they had not long before done the service. The boiler is only a year old and after checking everything he suggested that someone has the same wireless thermostat within 100 meters and is controlling our heating. The wirless devices and the entire heating and water solution was installed by the guys who came round who are Worcester installers and there is nothing on the controllers to change the frequency they are on. So it sounds as though we now have to go to great expense to change our system, surely there must be another way?

I have emailed their tech support people today to see what they say and am waiting to hear back! Thanks for the suggestion and I will let you know once I hear :)

that's great! I bet they've had this question before. With luck they will have a solution ready.

Is the heating definitely coming on? Some boilers constantly keep a certain level of water in the system heated, and will randomly fire up even when no water or heating is being used.
It’s not that is it?
