Survey - roof problem

We've just received the survey which has said there's probably a loose/broken tile on the roof and there's a slight damp patch in the main bedroom (surveyor took a photo).
Is it reasonable to either ask the sellers to remedy this, or get quotes for the work and then renegotiate the price?

Feel bit annoyed that the sellers haven't been up front about this, it is visible on the photo which makes me think they must be aware....

Im a surveyor and survey residential houses for a living - honestly most people never look at their roof.

I went to a job last week and literally there was a tile on the floor by the front door and the owner said “oh I wondered where that came from”......

Obviously some people are a bit more dodgy but on the whole are just a bit clueless.

As for quotes etc, sure go for it. However if it’s a single tile it’ll be unlikely to amount to much cost. The damp patch, is it visible or something picked up on a damp meter? As there will be a difference if it’s a redecoration or a more substantial reborad/plaster and decorate type of issue.

Thank so much for the reply.
I think the problem will be access, Surveyor said will probably need scaffolding in neighbours property.

Patch is visible, I think probably will be just redecoration.

To be fair, it's probably only been an issue since it started raining recently, having been so dry for so long before.
