20k wren kitchen vs 40k SieMatic - worth it?

Massive dilemma as both will look nice but the quality of the SieMatic seemed so much higher. The difference will stretch us quite a bit as we already are spending £45k on building work to convert the cellar for the kitchen so we will have to get a loan or finance the rest. Head vs heart - help me!

I went with a local independent company last year, the time spent with us and their attention to detail was brilliant. All other companies were just looking at replacing like for like, their designer came out and completely transformed the space. Amazing

Annoyingly didn't notice the dates!

No way would I spend that much on a kitchen - youll never add that much value to your house with it.

Howdens are brilliant. We love ours from there and although was pricey for us, it isn't ridiculous money.

We went for a Schuller Next 125 one which got us German quality and cleverness but at a mid range price point. Might be worth a look?

We're almost certainly going with Next 125 for our build. I've looked at A LOT of kitchen companies and seems the best compromise between cost and quality.

Have you thought of getting a kitchen made? We’re having ours made by a local joiner and it’s costing around £12k not including appliances and worktops and it’s quite a large kitchen. He made the kitchen for our previous house and the quality was so much better than any of the kitchen shops and there’s much more flexibility in what he can make - things like giant walk in larder - and colour of units etc.
