Am sure I read somewhere they won't, but others say they do!

Yes they do! Into the valspar bases

Yes - but it doesn't have the same chalky finish so it does look slightly different - i.e. probably fine if you've got your heart set on a colour and you're doing the whole room, but not so good if you've already got your F&B and want to repaint a bit of it. Also, go for the premium mix with primer - we've had that and the basic and it is far superior.

They do but you're better off going to Johnstones for this. Better colour match, better quality and closer to f&b finish.

Yeah, but it will never be F&B, no depth, not enough pigment. It will be a flat colour, unlike the way F&B changes according to light.

It will be far far more hardwearing than f&b....which marks so easily with the chalky finish

You are much better off going to your local Dulux trade place and getting them to do it.
Expensive but much much better quality.

Another vote for Johnstone's. Their flat matt is a good match for F&B. I have recently bought Johnstone's flat matt copy because I am an effing nightmare and have made too many wrong and stupidly expensive decisions involving the Real Deal and it is very good.
