Air purifier

Did anyone get air purifiers for their babies and toddlers rooms post a house renovation? Am worried about the dust factor as was gutted and we are due to move back shortly. I have plans to have it professionally cleaned but worry about the settling of the building dust.

Those who have done this - am I being neurotic? Or practical ? Thoughts please!

Air purifiers are useful most of the time. They're particularly good when in an area of congestion, dust, high pollen count etc. We used to live in a place with a high PSI level (bad air pollution), so I bought a hospital grade purifier called IQAir when my little one was born. It isn’t necessary where we are now, so I sold that and use Dyson PureCool fans in the bedrooms; they cool, as well as filter air.
