Shaker or slab? handleless or not.

Victorian detached, wanting a more contemporary classic look, nothing fussy. Cannot decide between shaker or slab. Also handleless or handles? Concerned that shaker need more cleaning because of the grooves. Some handless have deeper hidden from view grooves, but even more cleaning, and ones without handles that have the push and open method get hand marks always. If anyone has any and could comment, would love to hear. Thank you.

I was torn between Matt shaker or slab and in the end went for slab because of the lack of places for crumbs and things to collect, so easy to clean if something spills.
I didn't go for handleless because dh is an engineer and always has dirt ingrained in his hands, the handle on the white fridge we used to have needed cleaning daily, and I just imagined it would always look grubby.
in the end we went for the carrera range from DIY Kitchens in white.

We’ve got flat handle less units and it all looks quite sleek, but that also needs integrated appliances to get that look. Easy to keep clean - just wipe the groove occasionally and quick go over the front.

Thank you both for replies, much appreciated. Now I wonder is the shaker is less likely to date (it being dateless already) over the slab. It is a hard decision alright! As in wood over MDF type material, as the cost varies ridiculously, and the look it hardly any different once painted. Which will stand the test of time if this is to be the last kitchen? That is the question. We know about wood, but who is to say that new generation MDF type material doesn't also stand the test of time? For sure it is a gamble, and money is at stake.
