Looking for a kitchen that won't date

It's a relatively small space (10"5 x 7"5) but has the bonus of the sun coming in in the afternoons.

It's not really a family flat (2 beds, good commute to nearest city, but not really any amenities or anything nearby).

Thinking white?

I think cream is pretty timeless but I am not really knowledgeable it’s just what I like and have liked for a while.

I think shaker style oak is quite timeless, it's what we went for and it never looks dirty either 👍 I've always fancied a gloss kitchen but all the ones I've seen show every single fingerprint and I think they will look very dated in a few years.

White or light cream shaker with chrome handles.

White painted shaker doors and a wooden worktop is a pretty timeless look

I agree, white or cream shaker style with a wood worktop. Or a good quality wood effect laminate if you're on a budget - very practical and a lot of them look very good now.
