Shower wall panels

I need to replace some tiles in my shower cubicle and I've looked at panels but I really don't fancy the flat shiny ones. I've seen some but they have a digital print on them - look great in photographs but not so great in real life.

Has anyone found and that are "imprinted" or debossed/embossed with a tile effect, matt preferably.

I did find one can many but the colour range was quite limited - ideally I'm looking for a brown or mocha colour.

TIA

@Neolara I am waiting for samples from them. Which do you have?

Thanks @sluj that looks good too. Very clean finish. I definitely think these are the way forward!

I have had advice from a friend who sells and fits shows wall stuff and he says that Nuance is the best of them all as the top secret core is actually impervious to water so it won't "blow". He has had a cut sheet of it in a bucket of water for three years to prove the point.
Enjoy your shopping. I am about to do a 3rd shower and it will definitely be Nuance shower wall

Thanks @sluj I've got some nuance samples coming!

The one in my photo is travertine and is slightly textured/riven. We live in an area with extremely hard water and it doesnt show any water marks at all. One of the best things we ever bought.
The offcut from the first concrete effect one became a vanity unit worktop in another bathroom and the offcut from the travertine one is now a splashback. Looks good. It's expensive but worth the money as it will last longer

I would prefer a texture rather than gloss so I'll see what they send me. Great to hear so many positive posts about them.

Smiler they are Matt but have a slight sparkle to them in certain light- almost like concrete

serbska yeah I think my bathroom fitters would have lynched me if I'd have asked them to do round the sink! Smile They didn't enjoy fitting them. Yeah LVT we're really pleased with it.

The bath was where the walk in shower was but we never used it, no plans to move so took it out, don't miss it and really enjoy the walk in shower!

We're just about to re-do our bathroom. I'd discounted panels as the ones I've seen remind me of caravan bathrooms, but some of these are beautiful. I love these and these too.

Bush board Nuance samples have arrived. I'm very impressed. I love the dark one but I don't know if I can get away with it and the light one is such a. Close match to my existing tiles it might look like I've tried to match it. Decisions decisions!

Are you keeping the original tiles in any part of the room? If you are, the dark one looks dramatic and will look good. My travertine one is a similar pattern to the dark one but all pale greys and creams/coffee colours.
I like your pale colour too but I don't think it goes with the existing ones if it's meant to.

Enjoy the choosing

Smiler1972 · 03/08/2018 20:48

Hi @sluj yes the rest of the bathroom will stay tiled. I've got a big bathroom (probably used to be a bedroom) so I was just wondering if the dark one would gonas it's quite a bit darker than the browns in the mosaic. I agree the light one isn't right.

I still have Mermaid and tegawall samples to come.

Stick all your samples in a bucket of water to see how they would perform if water got behind the laminated layer.
😁

We are planning to rip out our ensuite shower and do a full replacement. OH can get discount for tiles and shower door . We live in London. How much would you think a ball park figure would be?
