Loft Conversion Plumbing Question

We are having a loft conversion soon. We are in a Victorian mid terrace 3 bed property with the plumbing situated in the corner of the side return to the rear of the property. Is there any way of having the loft shower room under the eaves at the front of the property without having a macerator toilet? I’ve attached an image of the layout we would prefer.

I think it would have to be a macerator. We decided against that layout (which our builders were pushing) for that reason. Instead we have a big shower room (large enough for a bath, but we opted for a big walk-in shower) running across the middle. It means the rooms are all single aspect rather than having French doors plus velux windows in the front room, but we're very happy with the result.

you could run a new soil pipe at the front of your property and have it connected to the sewer. Unless you are at the end of the terrace it would most likely be done by digging up your front garden and the road.

Rather than a macerator, get a bucket and empty it daily. It will be more hygenic and less troublesome.

Alternatively, change your design so that the shower room is at the back, next to the existing pipes and drains.

Many thanks for your replies, I am not keen on a macerator at all so plan B is the attached plan. I really don’t fancy a 2 inch poo pipe crossing through the floor!! I don’t think we could afford to run a new pipe to the sewer as all our pennies are already spoken for.
