Kitchen with unlevel floor

I posted previously about where best to get a tiny kitchen but can't find the thread! Anyway, I've since realised the floor is incredibly un level - it slopes down towards the window diagonally and is approx 2-3cm difference in difference spots.

Would this make it difficult getting a kitchen 'off the shelf' (thinking DIY kitchens or similar)? Would I be better getting a local carpenter to build something? I suspect the work surface will need to be raised and different parts filled to make it look even.

Most kitchens come with adjustable feet to make up for differing floor levels so you can adjust them accordingly Smile I would imagine most houses have slightly uneven floors (mine definitely does!) unless they are modern. If you're really worried about it you could have the flooring levelled - not a massive job once the kitchen has been taken out.

As the PP said kitchen units have adjustable feet, where it will be an issue is if you want the floor tiled, that generally needs to be level, you can have self-levelling latex applied (it's like a v thin layer of concrete screed) which can then be tiled over (my kitchen floor was out of level by about 5cm across the whole of it and it's now perfectly level)

Thank you! It's a flat - not ground floor, can the floor still be levelled?
