White corian - does it stay white?

Hi am putting in a new kitchen and think we are going to go for Corian - but given the cost we're a bit nervous about going for white - which would be good to lighten up the family room that is next to the kitchen. Does anyone have experience of it - does it stay white?

We have white corona. It does stay white and looks good 7 years later. It needs to be wiped with a bleach spray but actually very easy to look after. I don’t recommend the Corian sink though, much more practical to have a metal sink as the corian looks grubby quickly.

Yes I am literally just cleaning my white Corinan, it's lovely. It does mark with tea or other splashes but as soon as you use the green side of the sponge with CIF or kitchen bleach spray (not the cream) it magically goes white again. Personally I wish I had the one my
Mum has which has s subtle quartz grain and is much more forgiving as ours water marks unless you dry the surface with a micro fibre cloth but it was not our choice.

it stays white if you put the effort into frequent cleaning; or if you live in a house with no tea, coffee, red wine, curry or tomato juice.

or aluminium pans. Or marker pens. Or pencils.

or biros. Or wet newspaper.

We have had pens, tea coffee, curry and wine on it for many days sometimes. All have come off with a wipe of Flash with Bleach. Looks as good and new once it’s wiped done 6 years later,
We have a Corina sink with a stainless steel base and that’s fine as well.

I don't know about white but I have a black quartz effect corona and I have to be so careful with what cleaning sprays I use as it leaves dull patches that never seem to come out.
I also placed a hot saucepan on a damp folded tea towel and its left a mark that pisses me off every time I look at it Angry

Whatever you do don’t get the sink made out of white corian!

It stays white despite tea coffee red wine turmeric burnt cigarette and nail varnish on it . Just clean it with abrasive cleaner like cif /Ajax etc.

Our white corian worktop didn’t stain but was very hard work to keep it looking clean. It melted in parts and the solid color made is really obvious. I wouldn’t rule out using Corian again, even white, but wouldn’t have it anywhere near the hob or areas where food is prepped.

I worked in an office with it in the meeting rooms. Stains from tea/coffee wouldn’t shift as they were typically left for 1 hour or more depending on the meeting duration before the cleaners got in. Attempts by the cleaners to sort it with bleach caused yellow staining. Whilst I love the way it looks after that I’d never have it personally as life is too short to stress about every tiny kitchen spill. It’s also not as heat resistant as granite so you’d probably need to use a trivet for hot oven dishes which wouldn’t appeal to me either.
