What size and type rangemaster hood

Confused! We have a new 100cm rangemaster. Is a 100cm hood ok or should we get 110? Also I much prefer the look of the chimney ones but the flat one has a higher extraction rate and we have quite a big kitchen ...so I need the flat one? Thanks....

The advantage of a wider extractor is that it will catch the steam and fumes that drift slightly sideways as they rise.

It seems that canopies are more fashionable now than hoods or chimneys. The extractor can be built into a high bridge unit to match your wall units, with a fake door on the front. Looking something like this though numerous sizes and models are available.

The hole through the wall will need to be fairly high. Ask Elica to post you their glossy brochure, because their website is awful. Dimensioned drawings are included.

When choosing, look at air throughput, in cu.m/hr and noise, in dbA.

You want high extraction and low noise.
