Damp smell after rain.

I've had a damp smell in the bathroom for a while now after rain. Given that we had a leaky roof I assumed it was related to that. The roof has now been fully replaced, but the smell is still there, and is now spreading to the kitchen, which lies under the bathroom. Any ideas what could be causing it? The smell is only after rain so I assume water is getting in somehow but I don't understand where the water is coming in now we have a new roof. TIA.

what condition are your gutters? Where does the downpipe run?

Is there damp round the windowframe?

Can you take out the bath panel and sniff?

Can you lift a floorboard and sniff?

Is it a concrete floor?

Thank you for the ideas. The guttering is less than ten years old and cleaned regularly but the downpipe is on my neighbours side, but on the boundary next to the kitchen and bathroom. It does have some odd looking white patches at the top (it's black) so I'm wondering if there is a leak there. Unfortunately it's now stopped raining so I can't see anything obvious. Bathroom floor is tiled and kitchen floor is laminate. No damp around the windows.
