House 1 vs house 2

Cant choose between these two
House 1 - detached, 4double bed, 50 feet garden
House 2 - semi, 3 double 1 single bed, 100 feet garden
Most of other parameters similar. What would you choose if you have family of 4.

If we all pretty much say go for the detached one, and you are still hankering after the semi detached then there's an underlying reason why you subconsciously want it, so go for it and enjoy it . Homes are choices of the heart mostly not the head. Which ever you choose, have fun making it 'yours' when you move in.

Defo house 1, detached and extra parking although I love gardens I'd rather be detached 👍🏻

Thank you very much for all your comments. I was focusing on larger garden and 'not buying the most expensive house on street' thing but you all have made me think about advantages of being detached.
