Thoughts on these tiles for a bathroom

I have 2 completely different designs in mind! One is tiles, one is wallpaper.

Tiles would go on 2 walls - behind sink and loo and behind shower (big walk in shower, no bath). Painted white walls elsewhere. White floor.

Wallpaper would go behind sink and loo and then would have to think of something else for shower area. Would it be possible to wallpaper it and then stick one of those clear Perspex panels over it? Or would it just peel straight off?

Who puts up wallpaper in a bathroom? I have never heard such a thing

I could of course just have a huge mirror on the wall behind the loo n sink. Back lit to make me look young and gorgeous

I've lived in several houses with wallpaper in the bathroom - the one I was brought up in, a student house and the current one. It is fine!

I have a mix of tiles and wallpaper in both bathroom and shower room. One's been done 4 years, the other 2. Absolutely no bother with either. And I still really love them!

Miaow- how appropriate for a bathroom though! Could even have that etched on!!

Anyway, I've gone off it all already 🙄

How about this type of thing but in the lighter colour? Aaarrrggghhhh there's too much choice!!

Oh and the offending bathroom, for those that haven't seen my other post. I give you an avocado suite, a pine ceiling with matching bath panel and slimey grout. Don't be too jealous now will you!!

I have the copper and rose gold wallpaper in my front room. It looks amazing but definitely wouldn’t have it in our bathroom. It’s quite thin and our decorator really struggled to hang it! I think you’d need something a bit sturdier.

Ooh Upper that IS a beauty i'm feeling marginally better about my peach suite now.

I think you could get away with wallpapering above sink and toilet.

Why don't you paint behind loo and get someone to do the geometric thing with masking tape? You can get special bathroom paint that doesn't flake and would be able to match the paint to a plain tile for in the shower.

You could achieve the wallpaper look by painting the walls in bathroom paint and then applying copper slug tape in a pattern of your choice

But loos don't splash in any way.

Personally I think anything porous near a toilet is rank.

Great suggestion about painting the walls to achieve the same look but for whatever reason, it's totally put me off the design! I've decided to go with tiles - just got to find the right ones now and stop changing my mind ever 5 minutes!

But loos don't splash in any way.
