Are American style FF fugly?

Having a new kitchen DH wants to get rid of existing FF thinks it is fugly......he wants fully integrated...I am not bothered...thoughts?

We are just getting rid of ours. Will have an integrated larder fridge and freezer with extra fridge freezer in utility. It is too dominating in the kitchen
