Guttering question... with pics!

We have a very large flat roof extension on our property (it is a kitchen). Above this is the bathroom with all the pipes from the bathroom snaking to the side of the extension and the down pipe / soil pipe running along the side of the whole thing (see pic). We have had a leak along the line where the extension meets the main house and the whole thing was badly done originally so we have had the whole thing recently re done. Previously there was a LOT of moss on the roof so I think this was holding a lot of the water.

We now have a problem that the part where the pipe runs down has no guttering (and never has done) as there is no space between the roof / pipe and the water is just pouring off the edge of the roof onto the floor / garden.

This wasn’t really a problem before but it is now as we want to get the whole area paved / put a patio there and it’s going to get wrecked very quickly if water is just being dumped onto it every time it rains etc.

So what can we do? Does anyone have any solutions? I have the roofing company back on Monday to have a look but would welcome other opinions so I have some suggestions if they don’t!

I’m thinking we need something like this - (from Google images) but there isn’t the “gap” between the pipe and roof edge to do it...

I should add that it’s just this particular part of the roof that has no guttering. After this bit it goes out a little and the guttering starts and all joins up to the drain. It seems that to fit round the down pipe they didn’t put guttering in this bit... !

Not a roofer but you can put kinks in downpipes to get around a line of guttering. I would guess that the easiest and cheapest solution would be to fit some guttering and kink the downpipe around it. Kink not a technical term!

Something like this but with a shorter kinky out bit

And a kink to go back in too
