Anyone any tips?
I have no idea how this is going to work.
I'm not going to drive with the removals men, it could take 6/7 hours during the day.
4 hours nighttime.
Can I get the estate agents to give keys to my sister and she could be there to supervise.
I have the dog too.
I kinda want to be in both places to supervise.
How did yours work?

Around 2k with packing - I've used pickfords & crown relocations before, the more expensive quotes. But they were fantastic and no stress. We decided to use Luxfords this time - but they were a joke caused so much damage and things went missing. It was very stressful - don't even go near them.

£3700 from pickfords!

Mine (Abels) packed the majority of the house the day before. Came back in the morning for my bed and last few boxes.

I cleaned each room as they emptied it and just put the gloss on everything in the half hour after they left.

I then raced up the A1 after them and popped into the Estate Agent to pick up the keys when I arrived. Got to my new house about 5 minutes before the Van arrived.

Abels, four bed house, all packed to go into storage (didn't know till the day of Completion whether we could complete or whether I needed to go into storage) - £4,000

That included them doing the whole China pack.
