Glazed extensions should be cheaper than fully built ones... unless the panels are enormous.
But I think the costings vary (per sq ft) according to where you are in the country (because of local daily rates etc).
Can you say roughly where you are e.g. East Anglia, not 45, Queens gardens, Lowestoft!
There's a company named Apropos that do a lot of glazed extensions- maybe look on Pinterest for their work to give you some ideas?
Access to the site may also have an impact on costs (e.g. if it's a terrace, and having to go all round from next road, it's going to take more man-hours).

Thank you. We are just outside London. I don't know if I'll need a specialist company, just a glazier. What do you think? Access won't be a problem.

You will have to comply with building regulations for safety and heating (U values) energy savings. A good local conservatory company should be able to give you a quote.

Oh yes, good point about energy savings. I only want the top part instead of skylights, so maybe as I said, a glazier may be a better option.
