I'm after 9 oak internal doors for my Victorian house. Unfortunately the previous owner took out the originals (why!) We've tried sourcing reclaimed doors but not managed to find the right sizes, or within budget.
I was thinking 4 panel. Would you go for raised mouldings or non? Would a typical Victorian door have raised mouldings?
Cheapest I've found so far is £100 per door from Travis Perkins.
Any idea what sort of price Howdens charge to account holders? Or any recommendations where to look?
Is there any benefit of solid oak over veneered?
With all the hinges/handles etc it's coming in over £1k at the moment so would really like to get the price down!
Thanks
