Re-locating to preston area

Hi,
My partner works for BAE samlesbury and im considering moving to be with him i have been offered a job at preston hospital. Really struggling to find somewhere to live.
We are 30 no children and would like somewhewre with a phew bars and restaurants/ cafe but not preston itself.
Any help???? X

Lytham is a lovely area
A beach, a music festival, loads of restaurants, and good transport links
Poulton is also very buzzing too
