Advice needed - how to best utilise this storage room?

We have a small storage room downstairs roughly measuring 1.2m long and 0.7m wide (see pic attached) At the moment it is just dumping ground and I'd like to turn it into a more useful boot room/storage space for the family. Ideally I would like to have:

  • a good sized shoe storage solution for the family
  • coat/bag/scarf hanging space
  • a space to store the pram

Any ideas how I can design the space so that I have all the above?

Thanks a lot!!!

I use lots of tall IKEA Billy shelves for shoe storage. Perhaps they could go along one side? As it’s narrow, you might want some storage on the back for little-used things with the more frequently-accessed belongings nearer the entrance.

Wish i had space for this. I think it could work in your space.
