Replacing single oven fairly simple?

Not sure of this is in the right section so apologies if not.
About to order a single in built oven the one we currently have which was here when we moved in has a 13 amp plug which goes into the socket above the oven I have found one thats similar on ao.com but it doesn't come with a cable or plug.
Would it be fairly simple to wire in a 13 amp plug into the oven (my partner would be doing this) we have always had the ones that are hard wired previously
Thanks in advance

From my husband
My UNQUALIFIED view:
The wiring would be straight-forward. They would just need to check the amp rating on the oven.
But no reason why they couldn't put a plug on the end of a cable and wire that into the oven
Our oven was plugged in but when we replaced it he hardwired it into a junction box.

We have just replaced ours and put in a fused switch, check the amp rating and that the wiring is done correctly and should be fine.

Dh did ours, didn't take him long. He's not a qualified electrician but he is an electrical engineer so quite good at stuff like this.

" similar "

It might or might not be rated at 13A or below. Does the manufacturer says it can go in a UK plug?

UK socket rating are not the same as most other countries.

Is it pyrolytic?

There are not many biult in ovens on the market that can be run from a 23 amp plug. Mostly the cheap ones with limited functions. so fan only oven and grill but not both together. Multifunction ovens use too much power. So it is possible to get one but limited choice and you need to check the rating before you buy. Or have thevwiringbupgraded to a proper cooker point.

Thank you for all the replies it is just a fairly basic single oven, it doesn't have the pyrolytic function in it and it says on the product description its a 13amp (the same as the current oven we have)
We have our old cooker still which is a good one however using it would mean removing kitchen units and having the wiring changed.
Ao.com says they don't come with cable or plug but the installation is expensive we didn't want to pay for an excessive amount if my partner could do it fairly easily.
