ground rent

Hi, my ground rent is just £12 a year. I used to get a letter each year but get nothing now. Should I just send a cheque to the same address as previous years. I have no phone number or contact details except address.

Yes - you should still pay it even if it isn't invoiced or requested. Send a cheque and get proof of posting at a post office. You don't need to send it so it has to be signed for, that's not the same thing.

Is it definitely ground rent and not a rent charge? If you don't pay ground rent the implications are more serious than if you don't pay a rent charge. They are different things.
