Where do you live and what would you recommend about it?

I live in West Yorkshire, in a smallish village on the edge of the peak district and would recommend the beautiful views of the hills and moors, and the fact that there's a train station and a good range of shops including a small supermarket within walking distance. How about you?

We go nearly every week in the summer/ spring/ autumn

Durham

Pros: mostly cheap housing.
Good public transport, if somewhat expensive.
Beautiful city and countryside.
Lots of other great places in easy traveling distance.

Cons: uphill both ways.
Weather.
Patchy mobile signal.
