I have a vaillant ecotec. It's just been moved to a different position and having a few teething problems settling down.
Yesterday had the f28 fault but had hot water for a few mins til it cut off and no heating.
Chap fiddled with the diverter valve and it started to come to life a bit, but only luke warm rads and tepid water temp.
Have replaced the diverted valve as thought this was playing up (it only really started working again once he'd taken the head off the valve and manually pushed the little pin in and out)
Now we have much hotter water, but no central heating. No f28 fault anymore though.
Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening or have experienced similar?
