Sale falling through

May I ask those who've been unfortunate enough to have a sale fall through how long there was between accepting an offer and the sale falling through please?

Have you heard anything Here?

I actually visited a few agents today to get my name on their books after missing out last week. I hope something comes on the market before this next open viewing so that I can tell them —to shove it— that I don’t want the house that I have offered the asking price on.

We had to pull out the 1st house we offered on because the surveyor valued it lower than the mortgage we wanted to take out and the selllers couldn't afford to drop the price

Did you get your house here, we did not so are still waiting for something to magically appear on the market.

The one we offered on has had an offer which is £15k bigger than ours. No way, I don't want anything that much (for perspective the agreed price is £50k more than the other half of the semi it is joined on to which sold last year in similar decorative order).
