We are putting our place on the market. Just clearing up the clutter and dressing it nicely and wondering about nice air scents..., anyone have any nice natural recommendations Hmm??

I find the most appealing smell is absolutely nothing! Windows open, fresh air through the house & a good thorough clean (just not with any smelly products) 😀

I used to boil a pan of coffee and sometimes put a croissant in the oven... Grin

I do have some Lemon scented geraniums for this purpose; a bit of a ruffle of their leaves and it can scent a room nicely.

Definitely don't use anything too obvious. If I were a prospective buyer I'd be suspicious and think you were trying to hide something! Wink if your house is clean you probably don't need to worry about scents.

Isn't a cinnamon stick in the oven the classic one? I usually bake some raisin bread, which has cinnamon and mixed spice, in the bread maker if I want to make the house smell nice. I have to get the timing right because when the bread is at the proving stage it smells like my (small) kids' hair after a hot day! I really don't like artificial scents.

Fresh air is the best. A lot of people hate too strong candles / room fragances so you wouldn't want to put them off.

Well I got hold of some Method and am inhaling deeply...the Wild Rhubarb is more of a tart raspberry, smells delish. Couldn't get hold of the minty bathroom one though.

I love the pink grapefruit one!
