How often have you moved, post children?

Curiosity mainly. I never moved as a child but have already moved my DC 3 times since birth (as a baby and toddler). Wondering what's typical? Do you anticipate moving with your kids, especially older kids (~10+)? TIA.

I have lived in 8 different houses in my life, 5 with my parents and 3 with my husband and children. We hope to not move again!

Oldest is 2 and lived in 3 places. We don't intend to move again until they've grown up.

Moved here before having children and they are now grown up living elsewhere. 30 years in the same house and we are currently looking for a bungalow in roughly the same area. I can't wait to move!

15 yr old DD has lived in 6 different houses in. 4 different counties. She adapts easily and is brilliant at making herself at home wherever we are.

Our last but one house move involved a change of secondary school too, but it was totally the right thing to do for her welfare as she'd hated every minute of her first 7 months of year seven at her original school.

She was aged 1, 2, 4, 12 and 15 at each respective move.
