I've made a large framed blackboard a bit like this www.thechalkboard.co/rustic-framed-magnetic-board

Now I want to fix it to the wall so it lies flush.
The problem is I don't want the fixing to show if possible!

So I could screw though the frame into rawl plugs but then you will be able to see the screw heads. I could use mirror plates but then you'll see those at the side. I think hanging it from a picture wire will make it too wobbly to write on (and it's quite big/heavy). I think it's too heavy for glue - and I don't particularly want to trash the wall (obviously happy to drill holes in it).

How would you fix such a thing?

Thanks

A lot of ‘Command’ picture-hanging strips. Look in big supermarkets and DIY for the heavy duty ones

You can get screw head caps to cover them up.

What is the back of the frame like? Does it recess at all in from the wooden edge or is the back flush all the way across?

I use canvas mounting hooks to hang wall art but they are canvasses so have a recess at the back that the fixing fits to. Or you can try a french cleat but again it needs the recess or it will stand off the wall a teeny bit.

Command strips could work but I have never used them on anything really heavy.

You can get sliding hooks that you fix behind the object and onto the back.

Grackle - that's perfect! A few of those should secure it. Thanks.

Thanks everyone else too.
