I have a slight leak on the radiator seems to be coming from the nut not above it. Have tried tighten but its still there a tiny bit. What can I do ? Would it need a plumber ?

it might be the nut is loose, but it could also be badly fitted, and tightening will damage it.

If you want to learn a bit of DIY plumbing you could have a go yourself. Don't just tighten it yet.

Does the pipe come up through a wooden floor? That makes it easier.

ask around for a well-recommended local plumber. You don't need a qualified gasman. Or whoever services your boiler can do it.

If you've never done any DIY plumbing before, I can describe it but you'll end up with water on the floor. You ought to loosen it, inspect for damage, ensure it is fully inserted, then tighten. If tightened but not fully inserted that may cause damage to the end of the pipe and it has to be cut off and re-done. There are several ways of preventing a flood, varying with your system design.

Oh I will get a plumber in. I can't just fix with silicone ?
