F&B Shimmering Stone?

Just moved into our new house and need some touch up paint (wall mounted tv brackets are pushing out more than I want) but house is painted in F&B's shimmering stone and I'm damned if I'm paying £70 a gallon for the little I need. Given that I only want it for something behind a TV and a tiny touch up behind a study door - does anyone know of a very close colour match?

Buy a tester pot. They're three times the price of other testers, but you're looking at £6 instead of £45. You may not get an absolute match btw, but you can't guarantee it between different paint batches anyway.

Do you mean skimming stone? I think the testers only come in the Matt finish.

Is it a thing now that vendors tell buyers what colours the walls are painted?!?

Ours did - all custom mixed and they left the leftover paint for us. I threw all but one out as their tastes were very different from ours though!

Yes your correct - I had the wrong name.

It's a new build, the house came with a book full of everything they used, its name and a supplier. Bloody handy!

I'll take the brackets down, prime them and they should paint with Matt I think - done it before

Yes, just buy a Matt tester pot from Homebase or farrow and ball. Skimming stone is a lovely colour.
