Multiple agents???

Bit of background - 3 bed mid terrace in herts. On a large, but not particularly busy, road. House set back down a bank from the road, bay parking at top of bank and 2 small car parks at each end. Only residents and their visitors park here and even though we may not always park directly in front of house the maximum walk time is 1 minute away. There is no potential for a drive.

In my direct postcode there have been 10 sales in the past 5 years; the most recent was next door who sold at full asking price in 10 days - the day after the brexit vote!

Our house has been fully renovated over the past 5 years, with the plan to sell and relocate, so it is in a bring your suitcases move in condition.

We have been on the market for 1 month (I know this is a short period of time and that August is a quiet month) and we have had 10/12 viewings. More or less each one has said they love the house but are not happy with the parking. Honestly the parking is not an issue so I have now asked the EA to show the potential buyers our cars and ask them to drive by and see where we are parking day to day - we have two cars.

Since doing this we have two interested parties but neither are in a position to move forward.

After that long winded explanation my question is this.. .

Should I look in to getting another agent/s on board? My thinking is, has my current agent exhausted his client list before addressing the parking?

My other issue is my EA is only on rightmove, would it be worth looking for one who is on Zoopla to get the best of both world's?

Finally has anyone had any joy is getting their EA to stick with sole agency commission level after going multiple agent?

Unless it's the norm locally then multiple agents looks desperate imo. Ask your EA what they plan to do now to generate more interest. More people may start looking after the summer holiday period anyway and it appears the EA has been doing what you would expect. When we were looking we signed up to alerts from RM, Zoopla and crappy Onthemarket to be sure we were getting to know about everything coming into the market so I don't see not being on Zoopla as a big deal.

Seconding the looking desperate. It would signal to me that the sellers would be ok with a significantly lower than asking offer. I bought through Zoopla but I'd check RightMove too. Anyone serious about moving will be checking all of those so I wouldn't worry about that.

Don't do multiple agents for the reasons stated above, and I don't think it matters if you're on zoopla or not.

I hear you all 😁 I will stick to sole agency.
