Landlord advice needed - names on tenancy agreement

I m about to rent out my house to a couple. She is a SAHM and he works. As such he will be paying all the rent himself, and references have shown that he can afford the rent, no problem. I have to decide whether to put them both down as equal tenants (with equal tenant rights) or whether to put him down as the sole tenant and her as a permitted occupier. I've looked into the differences and it seems as a permitted occupier I can evict her more easily. I have no reason to believe there will be any problems with their tenancy (fingers crossed), but can't decide which option to go for. Any advice?

If you put both occupants on the tenancy then it means in the event of non payment of rent you have 2 people to pursue for any arrears

Good point. On the flip side would it mean that if he leaves and she is left in the property with no income to pay the rent, it would be harder to evict her as an equal tenant where as if she is a permitted occupier, it would be easier to evict her? Feel awful thinking of these scenarios!

It's always better to have all people living in a house be named on the tenancy. If he left, at least she would have a tenancy to help her claim housing benefit etc.
It's always a risk whichever option you choose

Another good point. Think I am erring towards her being an equal tenant
