I've just read the thread on Valspar paint problems, having spent a small fortune on their unnecessarily large tester pots.

I'm back to the drawing board. I had kind of chosen Tea Party but wasn't entirely happy with it. So far paints are either too blue, too yellow, too minty or too dark. I want a nice lightish sage. Probably Dulux (quite like Kiwi Burst on their website). Can't afford F & B. Any suggestions anyone?

Or there is a sage green listed [[https://www.duluxtradepaintexpert.co.uk/colours/collections/heritage
here]] too, but again I can't find the eau de nil.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I went to Johnstones and they offered to colour match the F&B paints suggested above - however they were so close in shade to a couple of their own that they didn't need to. The Vert de Terre is my favourite by far, so thanks for those that recommended it. I know light etc affects how it looks in the room but honestly, I like 3 different colours by how they look in different parts of the room! Why is this so complicated Confused Gin

B&q colours premium is a very thick paint, I find it very good for covering bold colours. I'm sure they do a variety of greens.

I have used valspar before and found it quite thin and oily to apply but the finish once done is great. I found it considerably better when I used an actual valspar roller. The talk of smelly cat wee paint concerns me because I think I'll need to use their bathroom paint yo get the colour I want and it has very mixed reviews.
