Has anyone used this paint for a large ish room? Does it look dark? The room is about 36 sq m. Would a lighter grey be better?

It completely depends on the room. It feels really dark in our lounge, but less so in one of the bedrooms. In fact, I had forgotten we'd done the bedroom in EB until I checked the other day, because it looks so different. We are in the process of repainting the lounge though, as it just feels quite miserable having a grey room when it's always grey outside.

Yes that makes sense. It would be for a kitchen/conservatory. White units and white floor. Hmm.

Could you perhaps do a tester patch on each wall, just to see what the colour will look like on each one? I think it also looks nice with higher ceilings - we are in an old cottage with lower ceilings which doesn't help with the dingy grey look.

We have it in our conservatory and it looks lovely. It changes appearance quite a lot throughout the day, so I would suggest doing a tester (either on the wall or a bit of cardboard stuck to the wall) to see what effect different lights have on the shade.

We have it in the lounge - think it's northish facing. Room is about 24 sq m. It doesn't look dark at all but in our room it definitely looked more beige than grey. Might look different with white fittings and different orientation but not really a grey imo.

name it looks a lot more beige in ours too upstairs. So annoying it looks so different down. It's a lovely colour in the right space.

The other one we like is "ammonite". We've done test splats but obviously that won't determine what it'll be like on a big scale. We'll just have to wing it!

Thought this was about a plant. Then remembered it's called elephants' ears, not breath.
