Recommendations for garden play equipment

Hi all,

We are doing up our garden and have space to put play equipment. I was thinking of getting a set with swing and climbing frame and possibly a slide. We have 2 boys.. 5 years old and 7 months old.

Looking for recommendations on where to buy good quality play equipment from? Something sturdy that will last through the years.

TIA Smile

We've a lot of TP equipment over the years. It's very robust and lasts well.

Where do you live? We got our trampoline (that will come later for you!) from Wicken Toys near Milton Keynes. They have everything on display so your kids can try them out. We only found them after a completely disappointing visit to John Lewis. I'd really recommend shopping in person as it's hard to judge the size or sturdiness of items online.

Costco

I would also recommend wiken toys. The have a massive display.

And for toys themselves I recommend a springfree trampoline. Pricy but amazing! We use ours nearly everyday.

It depends on the size of your garden. We have separate swing and slide so we can move them around. We also have a lovely trampoline that takes up a load of space! Hmm

We had a wooden set which our DDs recently grew out of so went for one from these people bravetoys.com/
Not cheap but very strong and both DH and I can go in the hammock swing with a kid. If we'd known about them sooner, would have got one rather than the wooden one as it is going to last a really long time and they have bits suitable for smaller children too. You can get whatever suits your kids - we have a triple frame with hammock, big swing (suitable for adult size bums!) and trapeze. It also looks nicer in the garden than the woodden one did - our garden is quite small and this blends in better than a big wooden frame.
