Can anyone help with wet room ideas?

I'm thinking more along the tiling etc lines as the actual plans are not my call ( disabled adaptations ) we will be given the option of choosing tiles and fittings though other than the shower itself.
I think it has to be non slip tiles or are there other flooring options?
And the same on walls? I want it to be a calming atmosphere but it is likely to be quite dark, possibly no windows due to where it's being fitted.

We have Polyflor flooring in our wet room, it's got those tiny 'bumps' in it that make it properly non-slip and not too institutional-looking and I find that water doesn't form puddles. Also has underfloor heating (as has the whole house) and a heated towel rail. We have a glass screen to protect the rest of the room but a shower curtain would work as well. We used Mermaid board on all our shower surrounds as I hate tiles and cracked grout. LED lights in the ceiling and no extractor, but we do have a window and MVHR ventilation system

We have a wet room without a screen. It works well for us, the water is well contained.
We have similar coloured tiles on the floor and walls. The floor tiles are very plain and the walls are textured. I think it looks really smart!

Thank you! That's so helpful. I'm sure Altro was what we looked at in our upstairs bathroom but then the builder couldn't get it so we agreed to the vinyl we now have that I am not keen on. I was worried about it looking the same as the ones we use in hospital but actually I think Altro was the one with loads of colour choice. Such a hard decision as I know we need practicality but feel our whole house is that!
Interesting about underfloor heating not being enough. Our upstairs bathroom is already mouldy from having no working radiator in there despite a good extractor and keeping the window open so I don't want the same downstairs - also, it won't be a tiny space but not huge. High ceilings won't be a problem ( it's going into part of where the garage now is- they will probably need to do something with the roof otherwise we will be bending down to get in!) So I will look into fold away screens. At least then it could be folded away for dd when she uses it but it's there if anyone else uses it.
Thanks again. I really didn't realise there were so many floor options!

Just seen the last 3 messages.
Thank you! Good to know that it's not always awful with no screen.
Also need to look up poly floor and mermaid tiles as hadn't heard of them.
Your bathroom looks great pickyparent thanks for showing, it's hard to find pictures online of real wet rooms.

Mermaid board not tiles ( as I found out when I googled!)
