Why do estate agents say "Offers over...." & other questions

Why add "in the region of" or "very near offer" everyone knows it's a negociation

Why can't you remove stuff on Right move (I've seen the same house in 25 million searches - I don't want it - so stop showing me)

Why does homewise even exist!!

Why when a house is over priced & you talk to the agents do they desperately try justify the price, most people are not daft!

Why, why, why.....

I think I'm having a bad day!

& what is the deal with selling a house with a tennant? That is so unfiar as theperson buying is extremely likely to give them notice - it's a bit crap really

Why should a landlord keep a house that he wants/needs to sell because he has a tenant? It's like saying that an employer should keep on an employee that they no longer need because the employee needs the job.

I can understand selling tenanted houses but not when the bloody estate agent blurb says "would make a lovely family home, too" after telling you the current tenant is in there until next June. Fat lot of good to us when yes it's a lovely house but we want to buy a house for our family to live in as soon as we buy it.

You pay less than MV and get a lifetime lease, well, lifetime or until you need to move into care.

So homewise get the profit from the increase in value when you need to sell the house to raise the funds to pay to go into care.

I also hate offers over! The first house I ever viewed was 'offers over' our top budget - as a novice first time buyer I thought this meant just a couple of grand would do it, something the budget would stretch to.

Not a chance - she was looking for around 20k more!

Now I know why the house was so amazing - it was worth much more than everything else we had seen online. Sad

Still bitter

Now an estate agent has really pissed me off!

I rang, they spoke to me, about my needs and my avaiability for an appointment & sent a confirmation email to DH at MY email address

I wish you could "hide" properties on Rightmove so that they stop appearing on searches.

PickAChew · 19/07/2017 00:02

I'm making heavy use of the saved properties facility.

We're looking in a very small icty where drawing a search area doesn't really work for us.

katymac · 19/07/2017 08:01

Save it pretty useless as you seem to be able to have onl] one list

Hide would be amazing

& I just found out the filters are flawed - I did a last day search and forgot to filter for 3bed and the top house was amazing when I put in 3bed it disappeared it took me ages to find it again!

So I now search without filters
