Good quality flat pack shelves.

We live in an elderly, awkwardly shaped cottage. The part of the house the DS' bedrooms are in is particularly inaccessible to big furniture. We need flat pack for that part of the house.

We're looking for some nice quality flat pack shelving for him for his books and bits. Any recommendations?

When I put my library together I looked at loads of bookshelves, was very disappointed with quality at M&S and John Lewis and was determined there must be something better than the Ikea Billy Bookcase, but in the end we realised why they are so popular - we have lots of Billy as they are so flexible and different sizes and can go round corners etc. They've been in five + years now and remain sturdy.

I really rate ikea children's furniture. It's robust and designed for them. The trofast we have is very sturdy, particularly the wooden pieces. You can get shelves for it, as well as the tubs.

I was teetering towards ikea and DH was very anti. Most of our furnitures v old but this space requires something more flexible. I'll show him what you've both said! Flowers

Design something using Jali.co.uk? If you search on here people have been really happy with them.

We have Ikea stuff - a mix of Trofast (for the kids) Expedit, and then individual shelves with metal brackets. It's all very sturdy still after 5+ years....
