Good areas in Cardiff

Any recommendations for nice areas to live with good schools in Cardiff? Eldest starting reception in September.

Ah I jumped on a post from a few years back!
I am actually looking to move my child to a Welsh medium primary :)
Unfortunately Melin Gruffydd is at full capacity already for Reception 2023. I'm looking at other WM schools but they're all dotted around Cardiff.
Any other recommendations? We are a multicultural family (including Welsh) so we are open to any suggestions. Just want somewhere friendly to live where we can make new friends basically.

Some close friends have a child at Ysgol Pencae, and seem happy with it. It's just across the river from Glantaf, the other side of the river from Whitchurch.
