Tristone worktops

Does anyone have these? They are supposed to be the same as Corian, but cheaper so a composite material that's seamless, etc. We had a nightmare with a Corian island top that got damaged in transit on the way to be fitted and, frankly, the repairs weren't great so we ended up rejecting it but the supplier wouldn't replace it so we're back to the drawing board.

I'd really like to see Tristone in a showroom type setting rather than just tiny samples. We'll also look at Hanex, Himacs, etc, etc. Just want to get it sorted.

Not much help but we was warned off corian because of how easy it was to scratch, so if it's anything like that I would avoid it, also we didn't like the fact corian was just basically an MDF base I haven't heard of the one your talking about but if it has corian's bad quality as I wouldn't bother.

I've previously had Corian in the kitchen we ripped out and there were no issues with those worktops. Minor scratches can be easily polished out. I never use the worktop as a cutting board or put hot pans onto it directly so that doesn't bother me. The problems we had with the island top were down to manufacturing issues with the fabricator and breaking the thing in transit!

I hear what you are saying and it's not for everyone. We need something which can seamlessly be made the large, fairly complex shape required. If it can be cheaper than Corian then even better.
