Does anyone have a boiling water tap e.g Quooker and a probe thermometer?

I have a supposedly boiling water tap (not one of the main brands) but it's rubbish and is only producing water at about 80 degrees, despite advertising 98. I'm hoping to be able to get a refund so that I can get a different type and I'm wondering if any kind Mumsnetters who have one at home could measure the actual temperature of the water coming out and let me know what reading they got?

I have a zip tap, it's not set to 100 degrees, I think it's at 98 and I got a reading of 96 coming out of the tap. I'm assuming it lost 2 degrees through the pipes. I hope that helps.

My Quooker just produced water at 90 degrees. Not sure what it advertises at.
I've not tested it before, always been happy with the temperature.
Hope this helps.

Thank you both! I think 90 would be fine for a cup of tea, 80 isn't making a very good one unfortunately.
