For a 3 bedroomed detached house with a small garden by a loud main road.
Downstairs consist of kitchen, dining room (no space for table in kitchen) and a large lounge + small toilet.
Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, you hear the traffic going past in one of them as its by the road, and a family bathroom with bath + shower.
It needs work i.e. has no gas whatsoever just electric radiators and would need completely redecorating as old fashioned apart from kitchen and downstairs toilet. It has no extras like a utility or any additional storage and only 1 parking space due to location, no garage. It's surrounded by houses and buildings so no views despite being in a lovely village.
It's in a sought after area with a good school.
Can't post link as v outing.

Apologies I do realise it's rather vague.

We considered moving and I spotted it online but there was very limited info on the website so arranged a viewing out of curiosity as it has been on the market for a while. Then we found out it has no central heating, only one off road parking space with no driveway (we have two cars) and all the work inside it would need.
It's admittedly a nice sized house but a bit random as its in a lovely village but it's located in between two buildings so you're basically looking at brick walls all around and listening to traffic whizz past.
I think that's probably why it's been on the market for a while.

The houses in the area are quite expensive but generally all of them are located somewhere lovely and quiet with great views of greenery and fields or with no immediate neighbours.
Like I said the quiet cul-de-sac property with 4 bedrooms, a utility, bigger garden and a driveway with parking for up to 3 cars + garage (and central heating etc) is £285 and the house we viewed is priced v similarly so it seems rather expensive in comparison.

I'm a newbie to the property market though so I might be wrong.
