Arghhh! We are getting the house ready to put on the market, and a neighbour's cat has snuck into the conservatory and sprayed on the sofa Angry It stinks. We have mopped the floor and vax'd the sofa twice but the whole downstairs still stinks. Help! What can we do??

This is the only stuff I've actually found to work on cat wee.

As above that stuff is amazing!

You can also get UV torches which will show exactly where the wee is. We had a tom cat through our cat flap and we had to get the torch to find out where the bloody thing had actually got.

White vinegar and water. Soak the area, leave to dry then sprinkle bicarb of soda over, leave for 4 hrs min but preferably overnight then hoover up. Smell will have completely vanished

love the stuff already recommended and totally agree with getting one of those lights/UV things from amazon. Next door's farm cat got into our place one time, and couldn't work out why we couldn't get rid of the smell until we used one of those lights and the little bugger had sprayed the exposed brick wall!!! This after two weeks of carpet, couches, curtains etc cleaning. Also, another tip is to grind up some coffee beans (or open a packet of coffee) before any viewings if you can manage it, one of the strong euro blends (Sainsburys does a good one, number 4 strength I think).
