Kitchen plan

Anyone up for making suggestions? Pic is where we've got to as of now. The room is a reasonable size, but we have a massive table and no option to make a dining room elsewhere or knock through.
This plan hinges on cutting down and moving a huge dresser which was here when we arrived and was probably built for the house as it goes right up to the tall ceiling height. However, cutting it down by a third means that the fridge can live in a more accessible space rather than in the corner where it is now (which is where we intend to put the chopped down dresser).
Issues: the fridge is lonely and bare in this plan, but I'm wary of blocking off the access from that door (which is the main throughway into the room and also leads to the back door). At the moment the dresser fills that space but is much shallower than the fridge so doesn't encroach too much. I'd like a balanced look with a unit either side and prob a top box, but, as well as the encroachment issue, I'm worried about it feeling claustrophobic when you're eating surrounded by looming cupboards. So maybe the fridge just needs one tall 40mm cabinet, or a base with larder top - but then would it look unbalanced and weird?
Have put in a larder top above dishwasher, but that will have a boiler inside so might put another one next to the existing larder - but again, the looming cupboard thing gets me worried.
I've made the larder top as wide as poss, because of the boiler, but it's only about 20mm away from the window - is this too close?
Thanks if you're still awake!

I've got an American FF (also thanks to DH and him wanting the ice dispenser) with a top box and pull out larder units on each side. I love it more than I thought I would as all the food lives there so unpacking the shopping is really easy.

Also, my pull out bins are under the main food prep area which wasn't done on purpose but is great for veg peelings etc.

Nice to know I'm not the only one Stoat Smile. Bin by food prep is perfect, but the only space I had for it meant it was in a corner, which made it awkward.

(Re bins in a tall fronted pull out) It is cheaper and more flexible than a pull out frame with bins hanging in it, that's all. Periodically take everything out to wipe up crumbs and splashes but that goes for any bin. But I mean there are plenty of ways of doing it.

Thanks - will have a look at that as an option, might save a few hundred quid!

So many options in a room this size - but would need to know much more about how many people you need to seat - how often - is this table extendable - would you consider replacing table - is there plumbing about anywhere else you can tap into - can either doors be moved at all ? Etc etc

Kitchens are a big investment ! In this instance I'd recommend bringing a freelance concept planner onboard or going to a good studio to see if they would do you a free plan ?

We've had plans done by three companies (although Howdens' was never really a goer as they wanted to block off the larder in order to cram in as many cupboards as poss). What we have now is a combination of those plus our own input after several sessions trying to thrash it out. Will try and draw up and post where we are now.
The table is not extendable; we had it made for our last house where the dining area was bigger, but don't want to chop it down or replace it as it's great to be able to sit eight people (ten at a push), even though tbose occasions don't happen very often! Doors both lead into the living room; it's a grade 2 listed house so not sure if they can be moved/removed. Plus there's steps down from each door anyway so that rules that out.
No other options for plumbing I don't think; the larder was apparently a loo [🤢] when the house was divided into flats, but no evidence of any plumbing remaining. There is an outside tap on the back wall though . . .
I should say we're in the queue for delivery with Handmade Kitchens but need to finalise the design before placing the final order.

Ah - I have done a fair few designs for people buying from them and the other Christchurch based dealer ! Nice products !! Is your sketch all drawn to scale ?

It is - although I dispensed with the ruler so it's wobbly!
