Just a quick question. We are doing a major house renovation and employed an architect to draw up plans. These are very detailed. As the builder has started to build, it has become apparent that numerous measurements on the plans are inaccurate by between 20 and 50cm(e.g. angles between walls, pitch of roof, length of walls, ceiling heights). This will have a significant impact on the layout of one room and also on various details (e.g shape of "statement" window, size and position of velux windows).
We haven't checked all measurements but have found so many inconsistencies that I'm now not confident about any of them. At this point we haven't incurred any additional costs but we may have decided on a slightly different plan if the implications of the accurate measurement had been highlighted to us before the build began.
What would be reasonable to expect to happen next?
