If you live in a 3 bedroom house what size are the bedrooms?

We live in a terraced house with 2 large bedrooms that we're thinking of turning into 3. This would give us:

Mine and DH bedroom - 3.4 x 3.5m
DS1 bedroom - 2m x 3.5m
DS2 bedroom - 2m x 3m

Moving house isn't really an option at the moment as we want to stay in the catchment area for school and we love our location - this option would give the DS's a much needed room each - but is 2m too narrow for a bedroom? TIA

Ours is 3.6m X 2.85m
DS is 3.01m X 2.16m
Spare room is 2.54m X 2.05m

Our rooms feel small so I think splitting a room would feel cosy but if it gives them both their own space and they're happy with the size(you could hang a sheet to show the room widths) then I say go with it. If you do move then you couldn't take the stud wall back down.

Wow, sorry for all the typos, that'll teach me to play and type Blush. I meant to say *could take the stud down for moving. And I totally missed your recent post about building dormers so forget my sheet idea to judge the space. I still say do what works for your family.

Our smallest bedroom in our old house was only 1.95m wide and it was absolutely fine.

We lived in a tiny new build 3 bed with 3 children, when our youngest was a baby (teenager now). Looked up equivalent house on rightmove. The whole house was 870sq ft. The bedrooms were microscopic.

Master - 8'6" x 8'7" (2.59 x 2.62)

Bed 2 (shared by DC1&2) - 7'8" x 8'7" (2.34 x 2.62)

Bed 3 (baby) - 6'5" x 9'1" (1.96 x 2.77)

It was incredibly tiny. We sold up when youngest was 9mo as we were so squashed in.

If there is no other option then go for it. I'd say though my best friends parents did this when I was a teenager and I have to be honest and say you could tell, but they each had their own room and own doors and windows which I think was much more important than than the fact it was cramped.

I also have a friend now who has a house like this, I'm 100 percent positive it used to be a two bed and someone someone sometime turned it into three. The two bedrooms are tiny,

You think yours would be doubles? Did you mean metres or feet? An almost 10 metre long/wide bedroom is very large indeed (about 32 feet!).
