Does this type of shower even exist?

The bath in our new house is basically the wrong way round. The taps are at the end where it would not be possible to stand for a shower. The configuration of the room means that we would have to rip the whole bathroom out to turn the bath or taps around.

Does a shower exist where you have a rigid riser with a long pipe that would reach the other end of the bath? Or is this against the laws of physics?!

Could you change the taps and have a very long hose?

I changed mine around just by replacing bath and pipes underneath. I kept existing tiles.

You could also do power shower

We have a riser in the middle of the bath that works great with a longer hose on the shower head on the mixer taps

We had an electric shower at the gently sloped end of the bath, at the opposite end to the taps. Bit unusual perhaps but fully functional.

You could use a shower that is connected to the hot and cold system directly and not off the taps. Mira do both pumped and non pumped varieties so you could use with with combi or immersion, plenty of other manufacturers too. I would put the shower at the opposite end to the taps by design as it gets them out the way. Hope this helps.

Depending on where your window is and the pipes underneath, you can tap into the pipes, run them under your bath, and have a shower at the opposite end.
Not a big job to do.
