Unusual heating solution wanted

We are building a new kitchen, to be open plan, coming off the dining room. It won't be very big and all of the space will be taken up by cupboards, and appliances, so no spare wall space. I'm looking for a heating solution, preferably to run off the central heating. I know one solution would be underfloor heating, but I'm not keen on this and wonder if anyone has any other ideas how we can solve the heating problem.

Kickspace heaters?

Why not underfloor?

With a similar setup we had a CH kickspace fanheater years ago - it worked quite well initially, though was quite dusty, but deteriorated (they might be better now!)

Could you shrink one unit & fit one of these in?

This is the kickspace heater - they are a ridiculous price!

Heated towel rails?

Our kitchen is 12' x 10' with 3 outside walls (N/E/S, & the S wall is shaded by the main part of the house for most of the afternoon). We currently have a fairly small radiator on a bit of internal wall but half of it is blocked by a bookcase (it's a pretty rubbish kitchen layout tbf Grin)

Anyway although it does tend to feel a bit chilly on cold mornings, when cooking is taking place - esp with oven in use - we have to open windows because it gets so stuffy, even with an external extractor!

So you might be ok without, esp if it's quite a small space. What heating will the dining room have?

Thanks for the replies. I like the look of the tall thin radiator.

Lowdudgeon, I like your name! Our kitchen will be a similar size. I think that upping the size of radiators in the dining area, and adding a tall narrow vertical radiator in the kitchen could be a solution. I'm continuing to research, so any more suggestions welcome.
